I come here for the family gathering couple times yearly.
All the time, they don't make us disappointed with great service and good quality of food.
One thing that I am sad about is this place is a bit small and crowded.
Whenever I was there, it was so crowded.
Besides that, the the quality and flavor of the food of this place is great!
I love this place. Sea food heaven -

Part one of our awesome dinner. You definitely get your bang for you buck!
Great service, they patiently answered all of my questions about the combo menu and even let us substitute certain items for more sashimi.
The way they serve a little bit of everything is almost like Korean tapas lol
Perfect place to be when you're hungry or looking for a new experience -

look no further!!!! it's absolutely the best seafood restaurant in ktown. I have tried multiple places but jeju is by far my favorite. There's like bazillion of side dishes and best of all, the food is really good. The seafood seems very fresh because they use everything live!!
They even have live octopus!!!! my favorite:) Staffs are really polite and courteous! although the price is mid range, for the amount of food and the quality, I can proudly give them two thumbs up! Very reasonable price !!
It's a must try restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!! highly recommend them for birthday parties or even for a place to casually sip and eat! -

Update 10/24: No serious medical problems. Long story short, we all felt sick only the morning after and it gradually went away. I really didn't intend to make it sound as dramatic as it seemed.
Appreciate the owner/manager for immediately reaching out to me!! I think it's either because we're not accustomed to eating so much seafood at once OR there was a cross contamination issue in the kitchen. -

Came for my father-in-law's bday dinner and wow. What an unforgettable, absolute seafood feast! Of course there would be such a quality example of a more uncommon Korean culinary experience in LA.
I've personally only had Korean sashimi once or twice before, but I love me some raw seafood and I was goggling the whole dinner at the dishes coming out. Raw oysters, toro, sea cucumber, squid, abalone, sea squirt, hwedupbap, twigim, grilled fish, maeuntang... it was ALL there, so fresh, and I'm probably missing another third of what came out. This was all part of one of the combos, which are very reasonably priced. Ton of food, we were stuffed.
The ambience was very neighborhood/homey feeling and I do think it helped to come with Korean speakers. Also, tiny parking lot so you may have to find parking elsewhere.
I still think about the dinner we ate here. Dish after dish of a variety of fresh seafood. And sides. What luxury. So glorious. My FIL knew what he was doing. Next time, I'm celebrating my birthday here if I can!!
